We provide you with the venue a full P.A. Sound Tech ,Lights and advertising at no charge to the band.( most clubs don't do this )
Most bands receive 25% of all sales from 1/2hr before your show to 1/2hr after (That's 25cents of every dollar we make) our drink prices are lower then most drink specials at other venues and cover charges are kept low on ( % ) bands to inspire large turnouts.
$3 cover charges are retained by the club to offset staff fees needed to host bands as well as pay the outrageous royalty fees associated with venues that host both original and cover bands.
(example) 25% of sales would usually = bands receiving a $5 door fee except you keep earning if you were getting just door once they are in you are done the more people the more you will earn we consider this extremely fair the bands that pack get paid better then any other venue in the city.
we do have exceptions for larger shows/bands
some larger shows receive 25% of sales plus a % of door.
some shows/bands receive a guarantee or % whichever is greater this is not the norm you must have something big to offer and we must believe it.
Some bands wish to work only for door we are open to this if the cover is reasonable.
What's Expected Of You
You are responsible for bringing customers that's why we have bands. we are a full time bar and do have regulars however you can never count on them to pull out your show
Your drawing power will affect any future bookings.
You are expected to promote your show (fliers ,hand bills ,internet ect) we will advertise in the local papers (Nuvo / Intake) as well as promote you on our myspace & web page you can send your electronic posters ,promo pics and info to emcfarlend@indy.rr.com
